NCsoft will join hands with global gaming hardware and technology companies such as Samsung Electronics, Nvidia, Intel, Microsoft, and Razer at G-STAR 2025, Korea’s largest game exhibition to be held in BEXCO, Busan, from the 13th.

During the event, visitors to G-Star NCsoft booth can experience “Ion 2” and open world tactical shooter “Cinder City,” which are scheduled to be released on the 19th of this month, through high-performance hardware with the latest technologies.

Samsung Electronics supports two Odyssey gaming monitors with “Glare Free” technology. NCsoft will use the 27th-type ‘OLED G6’ model for the Ion 2 demonstration, which allows smooth screen transition by applying 500Hz scan rate for the first time in OLED monitors. The SyntheCity demonstration adopted a 27-type “OLED G5” model optimized for shooting games by supporting a 180Hz scan rate and a 0.03ms response speed.

ION 2’s first mobile demonstration will be held with Samsung’s latest devices such as the ▲ Galaxy S25 Ultra ▲ Galaxy Z Fold 7. NCsoft will collaborate with Samsung Electronics to optimize graphics and improve FPS (Frames Per Second) by about 40 percent to provide a smooth gameplay experience.

For a high-quality demonstration experience, Nvidia’s latest graphic card “GeForce RTX 50” series is also used. GeForce RTX 50 series is a premium graphics processing unit (GPU) line equipped with next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) and graphic technology and boasts high performance and efficiency in various working environments. Ion2 and SyntheCity support Nvidia’s DLSS 4 multi-frame generation technology and Nvidia Reflex, which provides improved input, to provide an optimized experience.

Intel is preparing the latest CPU Intel® Core™ Ultra Processor specialized for the open world environment of Ion 2 and SyntheCity. It is a next-generation processor platform that combines Intel® Core™ Ultra-processor embedded neural network processing unit (NPU) and hybrid core structure. It is equipped with AI operation acceleration functions to implement improved play experiences such as seamless battle and smooth camera switching.

Microsoft will also participate in the event as an official sponsor of NCsoft. NCsoft has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Microsoft and announced various cooperation plans, including introducing cloud platform Azure and Azure OpenAI technology in the development of Cinder City.

Peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headsets, etc. are supported by global gaming brand Razer, which leads gamers’ lifestyles. Razer also plans to increase contact points with users by sponsoring various prizes for NCsoft’s G-Star field events.
